FAQ's What are wax melts? A: Quite simply, our homemade wax melts are a scented piece of wax with no wick! To use you will need a wax burner. There are various wax burners available. Some come as glass or ceramic and require a tealight. Others will come as plug-in options and will require electricity and contain a bulb that heat the plate, to melt the wax. What are your wax melts made from? A: We use two main waxes. One is a natural Soy blend and the other is Rapeseed & Coconut. Both options are vegan friendly and come from sustainable sources. We opt for biodegradable glitters* and choose sustainable and eco-friendly packaging* throughout our range! *eco-friendly options are always chosen when possible. Regarding the Rapeseed & Coconut Wax, should you have an allergy to any of these products, we would advise against purchasing. We would recommend our Reed Diffusers as a fabulous alternative to fragrance your home. How long will the scent last? A: Each scent will be different. Some will last multiple days/tea lights. Others may be more subtle and need replacing sooner. Also, bear in mind that every nose is different. What seems strong to one person can be sublte to another. This is why we have a large range of scents, so you can find something that your nose things is just perfect! We never recommend 'topping up' your melted wax melt. It will simply dilute the overall fragrance. If you feel it has lost its scent, ensure you remove the existing wax, before replacing with some fresh wax. How do I order? A: Simply place your order through the website for any of our products including homemade wax melts. You can choose for your items to be posted or collect in store if you are local to Plymouth. You can come and browse too if you wish, but we sadly cannot keep EVERYTHING in stock within the salon/shop. If you have any questions at all, dont hesitate to get in touch beforehand. We are here and happy to help :) Do you offer bespoke gifts? Yes! We are proud to be able to offer a range of gift options for all occasions. Whether its a teachers gift, a birthday, a baby shower, wedding, mothers day or just a thank you! We can help create something that suits your special someone, perfectly! We also try to offer options to suit all budgets, so if you cant find something within your range, we wont think you are being cheeky if you get in touch and tell us what you can afford. We will put a little package together to suit your budget. Do you offer Baby Shower and Wedding Favours? We most certainly do! How long does delivery take? A: Depending on your choice of delivery (1st or 2nd class), and also if there are any delays with Royal Mail – your order should be posted around 3-5 days from ordering. There is more information on shipping/posting on our 'Shipping and Returns' page. What type of scents do you offer? A: We have worked hard to give you some of the most luxurious and unique scents on the market. We like to stand out from the crowd and offer something a little different! Take a look on the 'scent list' to get a full description of each scent available. Can I collect my order? A: Of course! We have our own little shop here in Plymouth within Lashings of Beauty & Training salon. Simply choose ‘local collection’ at checkout. Please be aware your items may not be available immediately. We endeavour to have all orders ready within 3-5 days from ordering (this may be the same day if all products are in stock and available) Please contact us in advance for a definite collection day/time. Alternatively, you will receive an email once your order is ready to collect. Please note that our opening times may vary due to the nature of our business. We started with wax melts and now have a huge range of products including reed diffusers, wax burners plus bath and body products. I would LOVE to stock your products - is this an option? A: Yes it is! We are on the lookout for stockists right across the country. If you would like to become part of the Wax By B. craze, then please get in touch. We think our products would be well suited to Hair/Beauty Salons, Boutiques & Gift Shops, but if you have an alternative business, we would still love to hear from you. How do your Subscription Boxes work? They're really simple! We like to keep things simple :) All you need to do is click 'Sign up' on the subscription boxes page. Follow the instructions with adding your payment details, then you will be charged the same time every month, for the subscription you have chosen. You must pay a month ahead, in order to get your subscription box. For example, you will need to pay by 31st January 2022, to get the February subscription box. If you pay in February, your subscription will not start until March. So you would receive your first box in March. This is to ensure all payments are made BEFORE boxes are sent out. If you wanted to grab that months subscription box, but missed the first payment date, just drop us a message. We can happily take a manual payment for that month :) How do i cancel a Subscription Box? The great news for you, is that you can cancel anytime. We wont force you to sign up for 3 months etc to take advantage of these. To cancel, simply log in to your account, then click 'my subsciptions'. From there, you can cancel your future orders. Please note, once a payment is taken, we cannot refund it. If a payment is made, rest assured, you will still receive the following months subscription box, and then future orders will be cancelled.

Shipping & Returns Shipping Policy - Terms & Conditions Due to our products being hand-made, there may be a slight delay on items being despatched. We will always do our utmost to despatch items within 7 days of ordering. We strongly recommend ordering in plenty of time, especially if its for a special occasion or a gift. If you require an item urgently for a gift for example, please pop us a message in advance so we can confirm how quickly we can ship your items. If you are local to Looe, we can confirm whether the items are in stock for immediate collection. ​ Many of our range are pre-made and in stock, ready to go. You will receive an email to confirm when your order has been despatched. (You may need to check your junk folder) ​ We use Royal Mail for shipping our items. You can choose from first class (usually arrive 1-3 days after posting) or second class (usually arrive 3-5 days after posting) for delivery. Your products will be sent by your chosen option, usually within 3-7 days from ordering. Please understand that the estimated delivery time starts, once your items have been posted and not when they have been ordered. ​ Please be aware that during busy periods or unforseen circumstances (such as bad weather), your parcel may take slightly longer to reach you. We will happily provide you with proof of posting to show that your item was posted, but regret we cannot guarantee exactly how long it will take to reach you, once it has been posted. ​ In the event of a parcel not arriving, Royal Mail will not investigate it until 14 working days after it was sent. We will happily help you investigate any missing parcels, but regret that we cannot do it sooner than 14 working days, following Royal Mails policy. This means that replacement products cannot be sent until after 14 days. ​ By making a purchase via our website, you accept that you understand and agree to our Shipping Policy, terms and conditions. ​ If you are local within Looe, we also offer a free collection service and also offer occasionaly local delivery for a small charge. Return, Refunds & Exchange Policy - Terms & Conditions All of our products are thoroughly checked for quality, prior to carefully packaging them, ready to ship out. ​ In the rare occurence that you are unhappy with one of our products, please in the first instance contact us. If 28 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. ​ To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and must be in be in the original packaging. Non-refundable items include: Gift cards, downloadable software products, some health and personal care items. ​ To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Safety Information & CLP Safety Tips & Information Wax Melt Tips ​ To ensure you get the maximum results from your homemade wax melts whilst maintaining safety at all times please follow these simple but effective user instructions. ​ Be mindful when choosing your wax burner to use Wax By B. homemade wax melts. There are lot’s of options out there, but they aren't all of the same quality. Please read the instructions and follow the guidelines carefully as they may differ. Never leave your wax melt unattended. Always place your wax burner on a flat, heat resistance surface, out of reach of children and pets. We recommend never using a candle that burns for more than 4 hours at a time. If using our wax hearts, one is plenty. Never over fill your wax burner, if you find your scent has disappeared, safely remove the wax and replace. The strength of scent will vary from each fragrance. We recommend keeping doors and windows closed when burning in one room to get the maximum effect. When you feel it’s time for a change, let the wax cool and gently pop the wax out. Another option is to place a cotton wool ball into your dish and allow the ball to soak up the wax, repeating this step until the wax has been absorbed. Check out the videos on Facebook to see how it is done. Please make sure you never use a sharp object to dig out the wax. You can damage your burner, or worse! Our melts look & smell delicious – please keep in mind they are not edible and make sure these are always out of reach from children and pets. On the back of every melt packet (and online) , you will find a label with the ingredients listed along with our contact details. Reed Diffuser Tips ​ To ensure you get the maximum results from your Reed Diffuser whilst maintaining safety at all times please follow these simple but effective user instructions. ​ Always wear gloves when handling your reed diffuser or reeds incase of spillage or contact with the contents. When you first receive your diffuser, you will need to twist off the cap and remove the 'bung' or 'cap' which has kept it from leaking during transportation. You can discard this. Pop your cap back on the diffuser and place your reeds in to the glass bottle. Always place your reed diffuser on a flat surface, out of reach of children and pets. Do not put diffuser directly on to polished, plastic, leatheror painted surfaces, or on electrical equipment, as accidental spillage may cause damage to certain materials. The strength of scent will vary from each fragrance Keep out of direct sunlight Flammable Liquid Do not ingest Those with perfume sensitivity, should be cautious around this product. We recommend flipping the reeds every 1-2 weeks. Please use gloves when handling the reeds and wash your hands immediately if any product comes in to contact with the skin.
